Recording travel activity - Passive recording devices can be used to accumulate vehicle activity for short periods of time. The name of the product, Trace TTL-1000, says it all.  This incredible little gadget can provide over 2600 hours (about 5 months) of vehicle travel activity.  It just plugs into the cigarette lighter and the total cost is only $169!  There are NO monthly airtime charges! Tracking Radios - This involves tracking 2-way radio equipped vehicles of all types for the purpose of establishing a history of vehicle activity.  This technology is now built into some of the newer mobile radios and optionally available for addition to existing 2-way radios.
